It is no secret that the Move controller has quietly been the bastard child of the motion-controlled movement. So when Sony starting talking about the peripheral during E3 some let out a collective groan. Don’t get me wrong, I think Move is the best of the three by far, but I have never felt the need to use it. That said Sony instead have decided to focus on a brand new peripheral using Move; Wonderbook.
Think of it as an interactive pop-up book with activities and you get the idea. Checking out the screens and video below you will see the possibilities for this interesting idea. The worry of course will be support in the future. Right now Sony is touting a partnership with Microbot as well as a little well-known author named J.K. Rowling. Perhaps you have heard of her? Either way only time will tell who Wonderbook is aimed at and if it will take off. For now enjoy this new media.
