OUYA is an interesting concept; an Android based console that will cost less than $100 to buy.
The console is the brainchild of Yves Baher and Julie Uhrman and it is their hope that OUYA will take game coding back to the bedroom, as it will be enable independent game makers to create, share and sell their creations without the need of greedy publishers or impossible console hurdles.
Now OUYA is one step closer to becoming a reality when it exceed it’s $950,000 Kickstarter target in less than a day! In fact, the total now stands at just under $2.5 MILLION with 28 days still left to go.
Looks like there is a new player in town.
