Nintendo Announces Two Classic Sequels and More

Nintendo have often been accused of just recycling games, instead of coming up with something new. Today’s news only goes to cement that thinking, as they announce that both Yoshi’s Island and Link to the Past will be getting sequels on the 3DS.

Not a lot is known about the two games, but Nintendo are hoping to release them later this year (Yeah, right). You can check out the new video for the new Link to the Past below, which as you can see takes a lot of inspiration from the first game, but adds new gameplay mechanic and functionality.

In the recently finished Nintendo Direct Conference, they also announced a new Mario Party game for the 3DS, coming this holiday season. As well as Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, set for release in July.
