It looks like EA have jumped ship and buddied up with Microsoft for the next generation of consoles.
During the Xbox One event, EA took to the stage and announced that they will be focusing their marketing efforts on the Xbox One, and introduced a new game engine for their sports titles, EA Ignite.
The engine has been designed to make their sports franchises more dynamic and realistic. The next iterations of FIFA, Madden, NBA Live and UFC will all be powered by this new engine, adding better player movements, ten times the animation detail and realistic environments.
They also stated that the Xbox One will get exclusive content, including FIFA Ultimate Team add-ons. They did however mention that all of their sports games will be coming to PlayStation 4 as well.
